Introducing Alex, the founder and creative director of our esteemed enterprise. Originally from the picturesque town of Queenstown, she holds a deep understanding of the region. After extensive travels and global living experiences, Alexandra came back to her hometown, embarking on an exciting journey in the realm of weddings and events, all while growing her young family. Her exceptional organizational skills and creative insights have driven the growth of the AKC team, allowing us to curate incredible events spanning across Central Otago, Hawkes Bay, and beyond.

Having spent most of her holidays on the picturesque shores of Lake Wakatipu, Lydia’s deep connection to Queenstown was undeniable. After pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design with a focus on bridal wear, her journey led her from Dunedin to the bustling streets of London. However, when it came time to choose a place to call home, Queenstown beckoned with its irresistible charm. Driven by a profound love for weddings and an exceptional talent for organisation, it was an easy decision for Lydia to create memorable weddings in her favourite place in the world.

Originally hailing from a seasonal beach town in Cornwall, UK, Harriet possesses a keen understanding of the dedication required to craft unforgettable moments. Upon relocating to Queenstown, she met her husband, and amidst the beautiful chaos of raising three children, they founded Glam Camping Queenstown, an enterprise blessed with a captivating view of the beautiful Make Lake. Harriet's profound satisfaction as a wedding coordinator stems from her commitment to ensuring an exceptional experience not only for the couple at the centre of the event, but for every attending guest.

Stylist & Planner
Fiora developed a deep affection for the Southern Lakes while studying in Dunedin. In the years that followed, she worked in Auckland's bustling international film industry, wherein she became attuned to complex coordination of multiple moving parts. 2020 she first moved to Queenstown, however, shortly thereafter took a role in Budapest with Netflix, followed by several decadent months of travel. A desire for a more balanced life and creative career saw her return to the South and look to Wedding Planning. Recently, she found a role with AKC that fit her vision. She loves the excitement of a well executed event, but ultimately finds great joy and satisfaction in establishing a deep connection with individuals to bring to life their creative vision for a very special day.
